Veterinary Health Care Assistant

I am currently working at the college, and it has been a great experience working with an amazing team. Their professionalism is truly commendable, and the collaborative environment fosters both personal and professional growth. Additionally, I have seen how much the college cares about its students, providing them with a supportive and nurturing atmosphere that promotes success.

I recently graduated from the Paralegal program and secured a new job in the field. I’m especially grateful to my instructor, John, who was an incredibly helpful teacher. He provided me with valuable legal knowledge that has been essential for my paralegal career. I also want to thank Sanjivika, who was always efficient and supportive—she helped me find my practicum placement at a law firm and responded to my requests quickly. This program was definitely worth it, as it gave me the skills and opportunities to start my new career!

I can’t express enough how much Sanjivika has helped me with my practicum placement. Her support went far beyond the role of a practicum coordinator She didn’t just assist with placement coordination; she genuinely cared about my success and well-being. She worked tirelessly to ensure I was placed in the right organization, aligning with my goals and aspirations. Even during the Christmas holidays, she remained in constant contact with me, offering her support and making sure I was on track. Her dedication, kindness, and commitment to the students are truly remarkable. I am incredibly grateful for everything she has done for me, and I know her impact will stay with me for years to come. Thank you, Sanjivika, for your support and for helping me take this important step in my journey!

Sanjivika is an amazing person who truly cares about helping students. Anytime I called or needed assistance, she was always available to answer my questions and guide me in the right direction. She is kind, professional, and goes above and beyond to support students. Any company would be lucky to have her, as she is not only hardworking but also genuinely committed to helping others. I truly appreciate all the help she has given me!

Michelle is an amazing instructor! She creates such a welcoming and positive atmosphere in the classroom. Her ability to connect with each student personally makes everyone feel valued and heard. I appreciate how Angel Yang is very supportive too and I appreciate how Angel personally supported me with my placements of my practicum. These two instructors always encourages us to ask questions and participate, making learning so much fun. Selina and sweet Ellen is always available for help, and supportive with feedback. I feel lucky to be part of VCC.

This is my second course through the college I've had my diploma in Special Education Assistant , when I graduated I got my job within the district for three years now. I am now taking my Social Service worker and my instructor this go around is amazing Jyotsna Singh is very on point giving lots of information to intake and to have for years to come the exams are very to the point ...... I'm grateful ive gotten to take a second diploma to further my career in the indigenous support worker to be able to advocate for my peoples / culture / families thank you VACC.
